For 17 years we at Camp Hope have strived to follow Christ example in ministry. We do this through His commands and obedience in following His word daily. We have developed the character of this ministry the same way and wanted to share those standards of ministry with friends like you as we start out the new year.
Truth: We believe the Bible is the infallible Word of God, the foundation of this ministry, our character, purpose and actions. 2 Timothy 3:16
Child-centered: Our decisions and actions will be governed by the best interest of children and our efforts to reach them, win them and disciple them for Jesus Christ.
James 1:27, Luke 18:16
Generosity: We are missionaries. We love our calling and will give sacrificially of our lives, time and resources, with joy and a fired up attitude. Romans 1:1
Excellence: We will continually strive to attain the highest standards of quality in all aspects of our work and ministry. Ecclesiastes 9:10, 2 Peter 1:5-8
Integrity: We will keep our commitments, and be honest and transparent in our conduct. Proverbs 4:23-27
Servant hood: We choose the I’m Third Life. God first. Others second. I’m Third. We are servants and slaves of Christ. We choose the attitude and action of servants in all love, humility and joy, recognizing the value of all people. Romans 1:1, Luke 10:27
Collaboration: We will actively seek uncompromising opportunities to impact children through partnership at local, national and international levels. Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 , John 13:35
