Ok, so what’s CORK?…
Well, it’s like this. It’s a Community Of Roof Krashers. There were these four guys determined to help their friend who couldn’t walk. They were willing to do whatever it took to help. He was in need and they, on their own, answered the call. They were willing to do whatever it took to get him to the Master so he could be healed and walk. They were willing to fail. They were willing to do hard work. They were willing to do whatever.
The price they paid was to carry him to the roof of a neighbor’s, bust it open and lower their buddy in right in front of the Christ…Well, we know what He did. The rest is history and reported in Mark 2:1-5 . He fixed the problem immediately.
Now it’s up to us to fix a few problems by giving our all.
Whether it’s washing dishes all day or cleaning toilets, or wiping some kids running nose, or maybe washing a bus or truck. We want to learn to serve. We need to know how. Just show us and we’re there. No complaints, no whining, no crying.
Listen, no one ever said life was going to be easy and we know it and that’s why we’re the Roof Krashers. Helping others- who need it. That’s where our heart is. We’re obsessed with service. Yeah, we’ll stop for breakfast, lunch, and dinner to be polite, but other than that, we’re good to go and ready to get the job done.
